Meet Dr. Riano
Dr. Riano was born and raised in Colombia until the age of 10. Her family moved to Altamonte Springs and she has called Florida home ever since. Her passion to help others, as well as her interest in science and love for art, led her to pursue dentistry. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary sciences with a Minor in sociology. Dr. Riano then obtained her degree of doctor of dental surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry.
Since graduating dental school Dr. Riano has been committed to her lifelong dental education. She has expanded her dental education from implants to ortho and cosmetic dentistry by attending numerous continuum dental courses. She is now a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, the Central Florida District Dental Society and the Greater Orlando Dental Society.
Dr. Riano loves the transformative power of dentistry and the impact it can have on patients’ lives physically and emotionally. She enjoys marrying the arts and sciences in her work, all while being able to build meaningful relationships with the vibrant Oviedo community. When she's not in the office, Dr. Riano enjoys spending time with her husband and their children, Ander and Chloe. She loves to take bike rides and cook as well when she isn’t practicing dentistry. She looks forward to meeting you and learning about your families and interests!
Meet The Team
Sahar
Dental Assistant
Sahar was born in Iraq and raised in Jordan. She moved to America in 2010 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design by 2013. In 2015, Sahar made the move to follow her passion and become a makeup artist. Several years later, she contemplated which career field she always wanted to pursue and enrolled to become an EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant). She graduated in 2020 and now is thriving in the career she loves! Why stop there…she’s dreaming big! She aspires to become a Dental Hygienist and nothing will stop her from meeting her goal. She loves to learn and has always been curious about dental anatomy and dental care.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to Disney, rollerblading and swimming.
Her favorite quote is, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”
Kristin
Dental Receptionist
Kristin Dixon was born and raised in Indiana and attended Purdue University where she earned an Associates degree in Liberal Arts. She later relocated to Illinois where she received a Dental Program Certificate from Rock Valley College. Kristin relocated to Florida earlier this year, and is loving all the sunshine. She has worked on and off in the dental industry for over 7 years. She enjoys being a point of contact for the patients and getting to know them. It brings her pleasure to make the patients feel comfortable by guiding them through their dental experience, whether it’s by making them feel reassured about their upcoming procedure, walking them through their treatment process step by step, or understanding their insurance benefits. Her goal is to make sure each patient leaves the office with a smile. When she’s not in the office, she likes to spend time with her four children, being outdoors reading books, and taking care of her plants.

In our waiting area we have a fireplace and digital imagery and videos with testimonials, features on new products and services, and how to videos from Dr. Riano for at home care. 6 of our 7 treatment rooms offer beautiful natural light and televisions so you can sit back and relax while we take care of your smile. The 7th treatment room is for more technical procedures and offers enhanced privacy for your comfort and security.

We offer digital x-rays for quick and efficient viewing of your smile. If we need a more in-depth look at a part of your mouth, we also utilize cone beam scanning technology for a closer look. Digital imagery gives us a thorough view of your teeth and gums, and makes understanding your oral health easier too. Ever had messy impressions done for a procedure? Not pleasant! We have a digital impression system that makes impressions mess-free and fast. We are also paperless office, offering all patient forms digitally to conserve waste and think green.

Our mission to our community is to lift lives one smile at a time, and we think it's important to remember that there are all different types of smiles that make up our beautiful Central Florida community. We are proud to partner with the Center for Independent Living (CIL), whose mission is to break down barriers for people living with disabilities right here in our community. They've been helping people live independently for the last 46 years, and they continue to provide life-changing work to people of all ages and disabilities.
